A friend brought Ameen's falafels to a dinner the other night and because my past experiences with falafel in LA, I meant to only have one to be polite. I ended up knocking out 4 in quite the impolite manner!

I've been eating at Ameen's for over 6 years! I was thankful to find a macrobiotic food option on campus and here I am still taking bites out of crispy on the outside falafels with fluffy, herbaceous and flavor packed insides. The homemade pickles are probably my favorite part. Gives the wrap a deep bite! Fresh, filling and full of love. 6 years down, I wonder how many years to go! Heaven will also have his falafel so I guess you could say through eternity.

L.A. has real falafel problems, I know this because I have lived here my entire life and had only experienced dry, flavorless, and animal product contaminated falafels with GMO toppings and soggy pita bread. Ameen's changed me. The falafels, the collard green wraps...the pickled veggies, the PEANUT SAUCE....all organic! I thought I'd never experience falafel bliss, until I ate here. I will never forget biting into the sample falafel bit at the Mar Vista Farmers' Market nearly 5 years ago. The falafels have a perfectly crisp exterior and delightfully moist interior, the texture combination is divine. I cannot express how much gratitude and delight I experience getting to eat such a fantastic product. Thank you so much!!

Thank you for such satiating food while we were at Conscious Life Expo !!!!!!! The staff ... ALL the staff there at this place are completely amazing ! I enjoyed interacting with them as I ordered and even during the preparation of food, when possible. I loved how fast the lines were handled during that busy weekend and the fun part was that most EVERYONE IN LINE were telling strangers that "it's worth the wait" !!! I agree big time !!! Also ... I enjoyed this food at Bhaktifest in Joshua Tree !!! So to see Ameens at Conscious Life Expo was exciting !!!!! Thank you ... the nourishment from the frequency of your food through the chef and the 'servers' is unparalleled !!

The first thing I did at VegFest was make a b-line for the Pure Food Organic Kitchen booth to get some of their amazing falafels. But then I decided I wanted to also try their collard wrap. I fasted for 36 hours before the event just to be sure I could fit lots of food in. So because I was starving I was a little too ambitious with my order. I ate all the falafel pieces but I could only finish half the wrap But the wrap was amazing. No words can express how much I love these falafels. I literally dream about them. I have only had their falafels at other vegan food festivals in the past and ever since the first time I had them at VegFest 2016 I am always hoping they are at every vegan event I go to. They are the first thing I think of and look for. Unfortunately they haven't been at every event but as soon as I saw they were going to be at VegFest LA this year, all I could think about or talk about for weeks was how excited I was to get some falafels. Any vegan food event I go to if they are there they are the first booth I visit. And it will be the same at any event in the future if they attend. Their food is always the highlight for me at any event even though the day is filled with tons of yummy food they stand out as the highlight. I only wish I could get them more often but I don't live close to the Mar Vista Farmers Market where they are on Sunday's. Even though I also don't live near Santa Monica I am really hoping I can make it to the Grand Opening of their restaurant. Ok sorry for the lengthy review. I could go on about their food for days. But if you couldn't tell I can't recommend them enough. I have no doubt that if you try their falafels it will be the best falafels you have ever had. Honestly after eating these other falafels don't compare. I bet their expanded menu when the restaurant opens will also be insanely good.

Hands down the best Flafel I've ever had. Very tasty, crunchy and yet juicy on the inside. Most other Flafel I've tried and I've tried a lot are doughy on the inside. When you bite into it a whole coriander seed breaks into pieces inside your mouth and takes you to heaven. I had the Flafel in 3 forms, the whole wheat wrap, the collard green wrap, and the Flafel plate. They are all delicious, I tried some with the tahini sauce and the other with the spicy peanut butter sauce. My personal favorite by far is the spicy peanut butter, it's simply to die for. If the Queen of England came to LA and asked me where can I have the best Flafel I'd say without hesitation Pure Food Organic Kitchen.

Recently Amin started serving a smoky and ultra yummy baba ganoush! Have him slather it on your salad or wrap. I can't wait for his upcoming restaurant to open in Santa Monica! It's opening very soon.

These are the best falafels I've ever tasted! Such a crispy crunchy outside with a flavorful tender inside. They also have a tahini sauce with it but I love the spicy peanut sauce more. I see them at the Mar Vista farmers market on Sundays. They have 3 piece and 10 piece serving of falafels per order. Though I wonder if I just wanted 5 would they give it to me. They usually give samples but do buy some from them even if it's only 3 pieces!

Yummmmmmm! I had a chance to discover this delectable spot at a an event a few weeks past called, Vegfest LA! For anyone who attended, you know the food lines were literally a mile long and up to 1.3 hr wait from order to fulfillment. Regardless of the wait I had to try a falafel! So I waited and waited AND waited... When I made it to the front for ordering I was told that they had run out of arugula for the inside but I wasn't too disappointed. I saw how feverishly the staff and Ishan himself were working to pump out all the orders and make a distressed impatient line of people happy so I just happily tool what they could offer. I ordered side of (3) falafels with tahini and a collard green wrapped falafel to go! The falafel was crispy and fried to perfection with a nice flavor and texture! Seriously yummy! I'm no falafel expert but it was the best I've had yet. I'm no longer living in LA but next time I'm in the area, I'll have to grab another bite from this small little gem!

Ihsan's Falafel at the USC Farmers' Market is my go-to every Wednesday. Skip the tacos next door and go for the falafel or the whole wheat wrap. You won't regret it. The falafel is perfectly crispy on the outside, but still tastes super healthy. They're always fresh and warm, and the size is generous. I highly recommend getting the tahini for dipping. The line can get long, but it's 100% worth it every time. I can't say I've ever had better food on USC's campus, or that I've ever had better falafel.
